The Lunch Club and regular help

The Good Neighbours Lunch Club meets nearly every Tuesday in the village. The meals, which comprise a main course (typically meat and two vegetables) and a dessert, followed by tea or coffee, are provided from a centre in Hemel Hempstead.

As a member of the Club you are expected to attend regularly. Currently the Club has about 25 members. Transport can be arranged for those who need it.

Members pay a charge each week to cover the cost of the meal, the cost of hiring the venue and other incidental costs.

The Club is run by a group of volunteers who carry out all the necessary tasks to ensure that the diners are able to enjoy their meals in a relaxed atmosphere.

If you are a resident of Kings Langley and are interested in joining our Lunch Club, please call 07527 907128. One of our Lunch Club Co-ordinators will call you back and discuss the Club with you.

Regular Trips

Sometimes a client may need help with regular shopping trips or to attend a course of treatment. We are often able to organise a rota of volunteer drivers to provide transport on a regular basis. All our volunteers have been DBS checked and are prepared to offer every assistance.
